Local Jungle

So, we were at the McCormick Place for the annual restaurant convention, the largest in the world of its kind. And we had been working at the booth all day and wanted to go out to do something different. So, we got a Chicago limo rental which took us across town in no time at all. We were heading to an Italian restaurant that was known for delicious food and later we learned they had a palm reader there, too.

The Chicago limo rental was the best idea because one of the guys in our group was 6 foot 7 inches tall! In the limo he was able to stretch out his legs a little bit and not have to be all scrunched up. He is tall and big and this really helped us all fit into one vehicle.

When we got to the restaurant, one of the ladies asked me if I wanted to go with her to get our palms read. We don’t usually believe in that kind of stuff and we were going to do it just for fun. I said sure and the palm reader read her palm first. When it was my turn to get my palm read, the palm reader said, “Hmm, who ARE you?” It was pretty funny, since I am just me.

We all had such a great time and then got to return in the beautiful limo along the scenic Lakeshore Drive!
